AL&W Southern Pacific G-70-15 General American As-Built Woodchip Hopper Kit

This HO kit from Bruce Barney at AL& allows you to model the Magor 70-ton woodchip gondola from Southern Pacific class G-70-15. This group of 500 cars were built new in 1957, and many, but not all, of these cars were rebuilt with composite sides and significantly-altered appearance, as represented by this kit. These cars served the Espee up until around 1980 when they were retired in favor of the larger 60-foot steel cars. 

This kit comes printed in 3D resin. You supply trucks and couplers, Cal-Scale grab irons (part number 190-508), and 1/2 oz stick-on tire weights (Easyberg wheel weights from Amazon) to finish the model.
