DECALS: Burlington Northern Locomotive Number Jumbles - High-Horsepower Units

This decal set allows you to renumber Burlington Northern locomotives to enable you to create locomotive numbers not offered by the factory. The artwork for this set is based on actual BN stencil drawings and was created by Brian Rutherford over 20 years ago; it is considered a reliable standard for BN lettering projects, having been used on numerous commercial model projects over the years. Now you can use the same artwork to renumber your BN power.

This XL set includes dozens of pre-configured number strings for various high-horsepower locomotives, plus multiple 0-9 blocks to enable you to create almost any specific number. This set includes a supplemental numberboard background sheet for use behind the 7" numberboard numbers included on the main set. It also includes black 7" numbers and "BN" reporting marks you can use to "patch" early Hill Lines locomotives as done in the first few years after the BN merger, as well as Colorado and Southern sub-lettering and other assorted BN markings used on the original BN scheme and the latter "pinstripe" scheme adopted in the late 1980s.
