DECALS: Burlington Northern + MRL Thrall 61" Bulkhead Flat Cars

This decal set is designed to letter up to three Burlington Northern Thrall bulkhead flat car kits from 3D Central. The set includes all necessary car data to letter three classes of cars originally owned by GN:

• GN 160325-160374 - 190,000 CAPY, 36” wheels, 61’6”, 10’6” high bulkheads, 56’8” IL, NEW 1968
• GN 161300-161399 - 150,000 CAPY, 33” wheels, 61’3”, 10’6” high bulkheads, 56’8” IL, NEW 4-1967
• GN 161400-161499 - 150,000 CAPY, 33” wheels, 61’3”, 10’6” high bulkheads, 56’8” IL, New 1968

The 3D Central kit matches the 100 cars built as part of GN 161300-161399. You can use the same kit to model the later BN (and MRL) cars.

BN repainted these GN cars starting in the late 1970s, and some wore the full Burlington Northern lettering while later cars used the simplified BN scheme. This set includes lettering for both variants. MRL acquired some of these cars as well for log service, and this set includes patch lettering you can use to replicate these cars as well.
