This set is designed to letter one Grean Northern Flat Car under the Boeing Company's aircraft parts hoods (both tall and short) in the Big Sky Blue paint scheme. These GN flats looked sharp under the bright yellow hoods, and operated in high-priority movements from various factories to the Boeing assembly plants in Puget Sound. Eventually repainted BN green, these cars still operate today, now in BNSF paint.
