This decal set is designed to letter one complete version of the as-delivered Pullman-Standard 5344 CuFt boxcar as purchased new by Seattle & North Coast. This set is designed specifically for the Keystone Prototype Models 3D printed car available directly from 3D Central:
These 50'6" 5344 CuFt boxcars were purchased new by the White City Terminal Railroad, an industrial switching railroad in the Rogue Valley area outside of Medford, Oregon. These plainly painted cars were in contrast to many of the per-diem cars running around the nation's railroads when delivered, but they served as a sort of 'surge fleet' for the SP's lumber operations in Oregon and were a very common site intermixed with SP's vast fleet of 50' and 52' lumber boxcars. These cars were subsequently leased to ICG and then other railroads as the WCTR reduced their boxcar fleet throughout the 1980s.
This decal sheet includes numerous pre-defined numbers as well as 0-9 number blocks that allow you to model any car number of your choice. The set includes a few data variations that appeared on these cars as well. In addition, it includes patch options you can use to model these cars ICG and QC, as they appeared later in life.
