NSC built over 20,000 examples of these cars startingin 1987 and continuing through the mid-2000s with a few production variations along the way. These cars are rediculously common in today's freight trains, and they literally can be found all over the North American rail network, from Canada through the US and into Mexico. BNSF rosters a large number of these cars, and this model represents a several hundred car batch.
