Rapido HO PCF 5241 CuFt Boxcar, Guilford - BM

Boston and Maine purchased 200 of these 5241 Cubic-Foot boxcars from PCF in August of 1979. Built in Renton, WA, the cars were common sights in trains across North America. Many of these cars were refurbished and repainted white in the then-current Guilford paint scheme in the 1990s, as depicted on this version of the model. These cars are rolling out their final miles in revenue service before their date with the scrapper, as they approach expiration on the 50-year rule.
