Rapido Undecorated PCF 5317/5241 CuFt Boxcar

Berlin Mills purchased 300 of these 5317 Cubic-Foot boxcars from PCF in July-August of 1979. Built in Renton, WA, the cars were seen all over the country from coast to coast, hauling New England paper products across North America. 

Boston and Maine purchased 200 of these 5241 Cubic-Foot boxcars from PCF in August of 1979. Built in Renton, WA, the cars were common sights in trains across North America. You can still see these cars in service today, many repainted for Guilford/Pan Am Railways, or repainted in service for shortlines and lease companies. 

These cars have gone on to serve numerous second-hand owners. Use this undecorated car to replicate one of these repainted cars for your model railroad.
