AL&W Boeing Company Deep-Well Aircraft Parts Car

This HO kit from Bruce Barney at AL&W allows you to model the Boeing Company's purpose-built Boeing 747 Deep-Well Aircraft Parts Flat Cars. These cars were built by two builders - Maxon Corp and St. Paul Foundry & Manufacturing Company - in May of 1968 and were painted in a bright yellow paint scheme emblazoned with black lettering clearly delineating the cargo carried within. These cars were later repainted into a more anonymous boxcar red paint scheme to help reduce incidents of vandalism in the form of bullet holes encountered as the cars traveled cross-country with their expensive cargo. 

This kit comes printed in 3D resin. You supply trucks and couplers, Cal-Scale grab irons (part number 190-508), and 1/2 oz stick-on tire weights (Easyberg wheel weights from Amazon) to finish the model.
