DECALS: Boeing Company Deep Well Aircraft Parts Flat Car

This set is designed to letter one model of the Boeing Company's purpose-built Boeing 747 Deep-Well Aircraft Parts Flat Cars in their as-delivered yellow paint scheme. These cars were built by two builders - Maxon Corp and St. Paul Foundry & Manufacturing Company - in May of 1968 and were painted in a bright yellow paint scheme emblazoned with black lettering clearly delineating the cargo carried within. These cars were later repainted into a more anonymous boxcar red paint scheme to help reduce incidents of vandalism in the form of bullet holes encountered as the cars traveled cross-country with their expensive cargo.
